Reading this felt like taking a deep breath of spring air. So refreshing! I'm looking forward to reading The Parisian Chapter and making good use of my ironing board...finally!
I am so inspired by you and Cara Black, and so many others (Susan Elia MacNeal, Jacqueline Winspear) ... so many! I'm working on my own first book of historical fiction/mystery set in Paris, and I hope to meet you in Paris someday! (Sadly, I don't live there, but I hope to make a research trip soon as I'm trying to revise my manuscript so it is ready to query.) I have just finished Cara's Huguette, and have loved it as I have loved all of her books! And I am very much looking forward to reading The Paris Library and the The Parisian Chapter!!!
I keep meaning to tell you that I adored "The Parisian Chapter"! I'm a sucker for stories about female friendship and this one was so beautiful. I was sad to part with Lily when the book ended. Congratulations on the launch, Janet! xx
