Love the spring in Paris images - we're still a ways away from blossoms ... sigh! Such exciting news on your book front! I can't wait for The Parisian Chapter!
I’m so curious about what made you realize that you shouldn’t include the crossing with the other brides!! What was the pow??! Xoxo I’m dreaming of cherry blossoms in Paris after the post!!
Thank you for reading, Brooke! I was at a convent in Bruges with my friend and fellow author Anne Marsella. I was sitting at the dining room table, looking out the window and the realization hit me like a flash. And I made the change. I felt bad about cutting it, but also knew it had to go. (Sometimes I agonize over cutting a word or two, but that wasn't the case here.) I hope to see you here in Paris one day! xoxo
Dear Janet, your newsletter is the perfect companion to a perfect spring day here in Paris! I can't wait to read the chapter about the war brides' journey to the US! In the meantime, I loved seeing the footage of some of them, as they prepared to leave France. Keep writing these stories, they touch hearts and minds!
Thank you for reading and for your words of encouragement, dear Anca! Your support means the world to me. I'm willing to bet that you read the chapter a million years ago. ;- ) I loved seeing the war brides, too. They were so glamourous! xoxo
Great newsletter ❤️❤️
Thank you, mister! ; - ) xoxo

Exciting times. So good to see plans shaping up. That blossom makes my heart soar!
Thank you, Kate! I'm so glad that spring is almost here.🌷❤️
Wow! Another great entry!
Thank you, Jane! I think you were here in Paris this time last year, right? So glad that we could meet for coffee. xoxo
May I ask you something about Substack? I have printed many entries but my blog (or whatever the site is called) shows only ONE. I am confused.
I'm not sure why that is. Do you mean for my entries/ newsletters or for yours?
Oh, mine. Yours are fine!
Thank you! I’m signed up for the bonus chapter. Loving all the pictures of spring in Paris!
Thank you so much for your support, Janis. I appreciate it and hope that you will enjoy the chapter. Buck's section was my favorite to write.
